Since the TMS is normally interfaced to the control system through an intermediate FESA server, only a few connections to its server should have been open at any given time: Three for the FESA server and possibly one or two for each of the web server and specialist diagnostic tools.
In practice, due to bugs in both the TMS server itself and in the web server, connections tend to accumulate.
