These pages list the pick-ups (PUs) installed around the PS, arranged by straight section number.

Most pick-ups are dedicated to the Closed Orbit Display (CODD). These are always to be found in sections ending in 0, 3, 5 or 7.

Many sections also contain special purpose pick-ups. These are dedicated to particular tasks, such as beam control, damping, or transverse feedback. The electronics for these PUs are generally optimized for one particular task, often to the detriment of other potentially useful characteristics.
