The PS pick-up signals are distributed using distribution amplifiers in CB. Each has a fan-out of four. The pick-up signals are used by the CODD trajectory measurement system (2 outputs each, for first and 2nd turn respectively), by the analogue signal observation system OASIS (one output), and by the calibration system (one output). The newly installed TMS will temporarily be connected instead of the calibration during 2008 and 2009.
The distribution amplifiers are installed in the bottom of racks CR1,
CR2 and CR3. Gain is nominally 0.88. Input impedance is 75 Ω
and outputs are designed to drive 50 Ω. They are powered from
+6V and -12V supplies installed in CR1.
